Holiday Party at The Four Seasons Georgetown
Let’s just state for the record that The Four Seasons knows how to throw a party! Not just any party, but a holiday party in honor of all the employees that stand behind the name! I am thinking perhaps I should put in my application Seriously the staff over there is just amazing. We had a wonderful time partying it up with them as they danced into the night.
Some definite shout-outs need to go to the folks who put it together. Hats off to Mr. Joseph Richter whom brought it all together. To those involved in setting up and pulling the whole theme throughout:
Decor, Linens, Chairs and Furniture: Capital Decor – Kelly Jenkins
Flooring for the Ballroom – All Stage
Pipe and Draping – Fabrications and Avista
Ballroom Furniture – American Furniture
Lighting – Swank
Gambling Tables – Fantasy World
Dancers – Cast of Thousands
Shall we post the images now that everyone is dying to see how it all turned out??? In advance, YES we love the little blingy votive piece on the table, sorry we used so many, but we loved them all!

David and Mikel say I DO
As we arrived to this private residence in St. Micheals, Maryland (Easton) we were greeted by Amaryllis’ beautiful arrangements perched upon the entrance columns sending chills down your spine with suspense that something wonderful was going to take place, very soon. We pulled up to the house as Rick’s (Amaryllis) team was very busily making final preparations within this tiny beautiful Chapel that had been constructed in every perfect way possible from the lighting to location. Mikel did not miss a beat with the details regardless of how short her notice was for planning the grandest day of the beginning of their lives. Right down to the little high heel shoe protectors!
Organic and pure are these two in it’s most richest truest form of the very words. Mikel and I hit it off almost immediately over the phone and needless to say we are certainly happy that her and David decided to use us as their wedding photographers. Not only did we get some great shots, but we love being part of events that are so real. Real in the sense that the couple never loses touch with what truly matters and that in the end is family. It is unmistakable to see how in love these two truly are… as Mikel look’s up to David and gets this joyous and inibreated in love look about her. While David’s love for her shows through his touch and glance towards Mikel, whether it is from across the room or while his hand is on her hip, they are both completely contagious to everyone around them.
When Mikel contacted me literally 2 weeks back for their wedding date of Nov. 1st I wasn’t sure whether or not she was serious… within 24 hours she had made her deposit and sent over her contract and that was when we realized it was definitely happening. That Sunday itself we did a site visit to walk through the course of events, possible back up plans and to talk about what was important to them to have captured on this most important day. This is a couple and a family in which family is everything to them, judging by the photos you can see how genuinely they all love each other, this family has not only melted, but has blended together so well that you can’t tell who is who. We are honored that we were present to document history in the making between this dynamic duo…
Mikel, David, and children we wish you all so much love and happiness that one family can possibly endure. We can’t wait to watch everyone grow!
